Children and Young Teen Programs
- When: Sat. Aug. 11 at 4:00 p.m. to Sat. Aug. 18 at noon
- Where: Carleton University, Ottawa
Program
A wonderful children's and young teens' program is available for children of commissioners aged 8-14.
- Cost: $800 plus travel costs for each child
- Includes: accommodation at Carleton University in a pod with the child’s parent, meals, snacks, and program
The program includes taking part in a daily "Camp Awesome" program during the weekday and evenings and weekends filled with a variety of activities including interacting with General Council, a museum sleep over, hiking and games. Each evening, following the General Council sessions, parents/guardians will retrieve their children and young teens. Children and Young Teens will be assigned accommodations in two or four bedroom pods with their parent/guardian.
Childcare
Childcare is not being offered at GC41. Childcare costs are not covered by General Council.
